Vintage Victorian / Edwardian Style Lace Wedding Dress made in the 1970s to 1980s.
Waist measures about 26 inches.
Bust is 34 inches.
Shoulder is 12.5 inches across.
The length is approximately:
55 inches from shoulder to front bottom hem
76 inches from shoulder to back bottom hem.
The tag has been cut out so I don’t know the exact material. I believe it is a union label.
My best guess is that it is a Polyester nylon.
There are 3 layers to the skirt part – a straight slip, a lining and the lace overlay.
The front of the dress skirt has an additional layer of lining.
The top has a single layer of lining and then the lace overlay on top. The sleeves are unlined.
There are 2 little yellow stains on the front. I have not attempted to remove them nor have I cleaned the dress.
There is some staining/soiling at the bottom hem from being worn.
The belt is removable. It closes with Velcro. There is some stitching near the closure at the back. I don’t know what that was for.
