Vintage Lucas Key Ignition Switch 31187B Retro Car Part British MG Jaguar

It has been suggested that this may fit an MG or a Jaguar. Joseph Lucas Ltd of Birmingham England made genuine spare parts for many makes of cars including MG, Jaguar, AC, Austin Healy, Lotus, Mini and others.
The part is numbered 31187B and the box is numbered 31216A. They may not be original to one another. The key is marked Wilmot Breeden.
